Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the application owned and operated by TailorMadeTech Pty Ltd ("TailorMadeTech"). By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

POPIA Notice

TailorMadeTech and Adaptix operate in South Africa. The company using the app (e.g., Adaptix) acts as the responsible party for any personal information it provides, and TailorMadeTech acts as a processor to provide the service, consistent with POPIA requirements.

Use of the Service

The app is provided for fleet, logistics, and operational management.
Company administrators manage user access, including adding and removing workers.
Workers are provisioned with company-controlled credentials (generic email and phone number). Workers do not submit sensitive personal data through the app.

Data and Privacy

TailorMadeTech collects only the data required for the app to function. We use Supabase as our backend/database provider to operate the service and may pull daily aggregate counts of trucks and trailers for billing purposes. The company using the app is responsible for worker onboarding and any personal data it provides. We do not currently use Google Maps in the app.

If your organization enables the optional AI Fleet Manager feature, TailorMadeTech will transmit structured operational data (such as vehicle status, service and license information, refuels, pre-trip checks and tyre analytics) to OpenAI for processing via its API, solely to generate AI-powered fleet reports and alerts. Where the feature is disabled, this data is not sent to OpenAI. By enabling and using the AI Fleet Manager, you authorize this processing and confirm that you have the necessary rights and consents to do so. See the Privacy Policy for more details.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the service or attempt to access it by any means other than the provided interfaces.
Maintain the security of accounts under your control; administrators are responsible for user management.

Availability and Changes

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Fees and Billing

Pricing for the service is based on usage measured by your organization's active and archived units. Unless otherwise agreed in a separate written order form signed by TailorMadeTech, the current rates are:

R200 (ZAR) per active unit per month; and
R50 (ZAR) per archived unit per month.

"Active units" and "archived units" are determined by the configuration and status set within the app by your administrators. We may rely on daily aggregate counts to calculate usage. Unless prohibited by law, prices and billing metrics may be updated from time to time. Any change will be communicated with reasonable advance notice and will apply prospectively from the effective date stated in that notice. If you do not agree to updated pricing, you may discontinue use before the effective date of the change.

All fees are exclusive of taxes, which are your responsibility. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. If an invoice is not paid when due, we may suspend or limit access until payment is received. No refunds are offered except where required by law.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TailorMadeTech disclaims all warranties and limits liability for indirect or consequential damages.
